On Monday in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, when a street vendor refused to give him money to buy alcohol, a retired soldier opened fire on him. The firing spread panic in the area. After receiving the information, the police station reached the spot. After a lot of effort, the accused present in the house was arrested and taken to the police station.

The incident is of Bhojpura village of City Kotwali area. Retired soldier Anil Kumar, who lives near the railway crossing in the village, reached the street vendor Shivkant in the afternoon. He asked him for 200 rupees to drink alcohol. The street vendor gave him 100 rupees. But, the soldier started asking for 100 rupees more.
On this, the cart owner said that he did not have any more money. This made the retired soldier furious. He climbed up on the roof with his licensed gun. He threatened the cart owner and shot him. The bullet hit the utensil kept on the cart. After the shot was fired, the young man ran away to save his life.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot. The retired soldier did not open the door. The police kept teasing him for a long time. During this, he also fired from a gun. This firing incident created panic among the people of the area. A crowd of people gathered around the spot.
After arresting the retired soldier, police force from the police station also reached the spot. The policemen asked the accused to come down. But, he did not agree. After a struggle of about an hour, the police arrested Anil. The police took him to the police station in a jeep.
